Due to the continuously growing interest in The Flight Of Sleipnir and the unavailability of their extremely limited self-released EPs “Wisdom Calls For Sacrifice” and “Winter Solstice II”, it was decided to give all fans the chance to obtain the old material in a proper format. Namely, the limited “Ascension” A5-DigiCD which includes liner notes for each of the old songs, as well as a previously unreleased cover of Pentagram’s “Be Forewarned” and a rare live version of “Algiz”, performed by David & Clay with the help of their live members, and quite a bit different from the album version.

Here's a release that shows the honest beginnings of a band that set out to combine the Viking theme with classic Doom Metal and Progressive Rock like no other.
